ApplySnapshot

1. API Description

This API (ApplySnapshot) is used to revert to a snapshot.

Notes

• This is an asynchronous API. The request returns immediately after submission, but the operation is not yet complete. You can query the disk rollback status by calling DescribeDisks. If the disk status changes from ROLLING_BACK to AVAILABLE or IN_USE, the rollback was successful. No operations can be performed on the disk during the rollback process.

• The snapshot used for rollback must be in AVAILABLE state. You can query the snapshot status by calling DescribeSnapshots. See the SnapshotState field in the output parameters for details.

2. Input Parameters

The following request parameter list only provides API request parameters.

diskId	Yes	String	ID of the disk.

3. Output Parameters

requestId	String	The unique request ID, which is returned for each request. RequestId is required for locating a problem.

6. Error Codes

The following only lists the error codes related to the API business logic. For other error codes, see Common Error Codes.

HTTP Status Code	Error Code	Description
404	INVALID_DISK_NOT_FOUND	Disk does not exist.
404	INVALID_DISK_SNAPSHOT_NOT_FOUND	Snapshot does not exist.
400	OPERATION_DENIED_DISK_STATUS	Operations on the disk with current status are not supported.
400	OPERATION_DENIED_DISK_SNAPSHOT_STATUS	The operation is not supported for current snapshot state.
