# StopIpForward

## 1. API Description

This API (StopIpForward) is used to disables IP forwarding on the specified elastic compute instance. After disabling, the instance will no longer forward network traffic destined for other hosts.

{% hint style="info" %} **Note**

Only operations on instances that are in powered-off or power-on state are supported.
{% endhint %}

## 5. Developer Resources

Zenlayer Cloud API 2.0 integrates [SDKs](/api-reference/api-introduction/toolkit/api-sdk.md)，to make it easier for you to call APIs. More programming languages will be supported.
