# DeleteSubnet

## 1. API Description

This API (DeleteSubnet) is used to delete a subnet under a global VPC.

* <mark style="color:blue;">Operations on subnets associated with vNICs are not supported.</mark>
* <mark style="color:blue;">Operations on default subnets are not supported.</mark>

| 409              | INVALID\_SUBNET\_IN\_USE    | Subnet is associated with vNICs                                    |
| 404              | INVALID\_SUBNET\_NOT\_FOUND | Subnet does not exist.                                             |
| 400              | INVALID\_SUBNET\_HAS\_HAVIP | The specified subnet has one or more HaVips and cannot be deleted. |
