# DeletePrivateZone

## 1. API Description

This API (DeletePrivateZone) is used to delete a specified DNS Zone.

* Before deleting a DNS Zone, all associated VPCs must be disassociated.

## 2. Input Parameters

The following request parameter list only provides API request parameters.

| zoneId         | Yes      | String | <p>ID of the DNS Zone to be deleted.</p><p>It can be obtained by calling <a href="/api-reference/zdns/private-zone/describeprivatezones.md">DescribePrivateZones</a>.</p> |

| requestId      | String | <p>The unique request ID, which is returned for each request.</p><p>RequestId is required for locating a problem.</p> |
