# IP Restrictions

An IP blocklist and IP allowlist filters user requests based on specified IP addresses. The feature can protect Zenlayer CDN points of presence (POPs) from IP theft and attacks.

### Allow List

Expected result: Only IP addresses that range from `10.10.10.1` to `10.10.10.254` and `10.11.11.1` to `10.11.11.254` can access the resources of the specified domain name.

### Block List

Expected result: The IP address `192.168.0.1` cannot access the resources of the specified domain name.
