Create IP Transit
This chapter guides users through the configurations of the IP Transit service via the console interface.
Prerequisites
The IP transit service is based on Zenlayer backbone network, so you must have Active port access to the backbone network to create this service. See Create a Port for more details.
For BGP Routing Mode, please Authorize ASN or AS-SET required for BGP interconnect first.
Procedures
IP Transit Basic Configuration

Select a data center port Select a port located in the data center where you want to access the public internet.
Configure the VLAN ID The VLAN ID is used for accessing the L2 private connect established between your port and the IP transit.
(Optional) Enable remote IP transit If you prefer not to purchase a new port at the target public internet access location, you can enable remote IPT to access the internet in that region via our backbone network.
IP Address Configuration
Choose a desired delivery mode.
Gateway Mode You do not possess your own IP addresses and the gateway handles routing and network translation functions. Suitable for customers with simpler network architectures who do not require dynamic routing.
Routing Mode - Static You do not possess your own IP addresses and operate relatively simple or stable network architectures without the need for dynamic route learning.
Routing Mode - BGP You possess your own IP addresses and operate complex and frequently changing network architectures that requires support for dynamic routing.
Network Bandwidth Configuration

Configure the bandwidth of the IP transit.
Flat Rate with fixed bandwidth
Burstable 95th with commit rate and burst capacity
What to Do Next
After IP transit creation, you will view the customer and provider IPv4 addresses for interconnection on the IP transit list page. Please configure your client device accordingly based on this information.
