# Can I specify consecutive IPs for instances in the same zone?

Consecutive IPs for instances in the same zone are not supported because the primary public IPs are randomly generated. If you want to have consecutive IPs for your instances, please choose our [**CIDR block**](/welcome/bare-metal/overview/public-network/cidr-block.md) service.
