# Create a Resource Group

Resource groups help you categorize your available resources. Different resource groups contain different resources and can be assigned to different members.

## Prerequisites

* Only users with **AdministratorAccess** policy can create resource groups.
* All resources need to be in resource groups.

## Procedures

1. Go to <img src="https://3201622183-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9X3FDdkCL2HzhbPpPMFt%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-9a324f280312dc0224c0bdd064d33138589b05ce%2Fimage%20(19).png?alt=media&amp;token=373d9a78-67fc-4490-a3e7-24f673378128" alt="" data-size="line"> > **Team** > **Manage your Current Team** > **Resource Management** > **New Resource Group**.
2. Enter your resource group name.
3. Click on **Confirm**.
4. *<mark style="color:green;">(Optional)</mark>* View and grant permissions, or delete the resource group.

## **What to Do Next**

Click on the resource group name in the list to view details, then click **Add Resource** to select the resources you want to add.
