# Set up Private Network

If you want to provision a [Cloud Router](/welcome/cloud-networking/overview/concepts.md#cloud-router) and run your instances in a [VPC](/welcome/bare-metal/overview/private-network/virtual-private-cloud.md), select an existing VPC or create a new one. See [Create a VPC](/welcome/bare-metal/get-started/create-a-virtual-private-cloud.md) for more details.

If you want to provision a [Private Connect](/welcome/cloud-networking/overview/concepts.md#private-connect) and run your instances in a [subnet](/welcome/bare-metal/overview/private-network/subnet.md), select an existing subnet or create a new one. See [Create a Subnet](/welcome/bare-metal/get-started/create-a-subnet.md) for more details.
